    Description

    This is Northwood's
    Rainbow
    line c. 1917 - 1924.  This particular color is an opaque blue and was called
    Jade Blue.
    It was introduced in 1921.   This item is the large 1 lb candy jar at 10 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide at the top.  This Jade Blue Jar is the only one I've ever seen in over 20 years so I know it's rare.  It's in perfect condition with no chips or cracks, and no mineral deposits.  The ring around the outside edge of the foot is the
    Iridize overspray
    which was done at the factory.  The flash of the camera actually makes the ring appear to be darker than it actually is.  It's a light Marigold Iridize.  But it's in the glass and it is what it is.   Any other unusual white or dark spots shown in the photos are from camera glare. This will make a great novelty accessory to any Victorian home.  3300R1375
