This listing is for a very rare painting book titled Library Of Folk Art Book 1 - Pilgrim Patterns From A To Z by Joyce Howard, dated 1981, (52 pages).  It contains 7 very elaborate projects using over 15 different patterns, photos and instructions. It also includes wonderfully decorated patterns of a full alphabet.   **** BONUS:  Also included a separate full sized pattern with instructions for Joyce Howard's " The Skater's Sled".
This book is the 1st in a series to guide the beginner using easy steps in decorative painting and knowledge of color use. It has step-by-step painting worksheets. This book has an excellent section on color mixing & surface preparation for painting on tin, as well as, the color mixes most often used in folk painting. It also has instructions for acrylic and mud painting, and the antiquing method. It also has bonus patterns for your use. All projects use multiple patterns, which you can paint separately and/or combine for your own creation.
This book is from a fellow painter and a name has been whited out on the top of 1st page, and some rubs on 1 page, not affecting any writing, patterns, or photos. It shows no other signs of usage, other than clear tape on top of cover where label once was. It has no writings, other markings, tears, rips or bent or missing pages. I can't find any other imperfections on or in the book, other than shelf wear and creasing to the binding.
Please see photos for the wonderful projects in this book.  All the books are photographed showing at least the front and back covers in their entirety, so that any shelf wear, which may exist, is clearly visible.
