    This is a fabulous vaseline topaz stretch glass salver featuring the pattern "#
    1043
    " made by the Fenton Art Glass Company of Williamstown, West Virginia, circa early 1920s.
    The salver has the classic twisted stem and ribbed exterior.  The vaseline salver glows under ultraviolet light (UV365).
    {Vaseline/Uranium glow under UV365 in daylight}
    Excellent condition.  No chips, cracks, or restorations. The pattern is well-articulated, the iridescence is strong and unmarred and the onion skin stretch effect is second to none.
    There are the usual internal air bubbles and straw marks (shearing and crimping tool marks) commonly associated with the hand manufacturing of old carnival, opalescent and EAPG.  Each piece of this old fabulous glass is unique, no two pieces are identical.
