Description
This is a vintage mini 8 x 5 inch poster. This now classic and infamous risque use of Disney characters first appeared as a b/w center spread poster in the May 1967 issue of the counter culture publication "The Realist." Art was done by the legendary Wally Wood. Not long after appearing in that issue, this art was used for a blacklight poster that was sold in head shops. It was at this time that Disney filed a lawsuit and the case was settled out of court. it does date to the late 1960s. Art revolves mostly around Disney characters engaged in various sexual acts along with other perverse and drug-related activities. A host of characters are pictured including Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Three Pigs, Cinderella, Alice, Dumbo, Lady & The Tramp, plus characters from Peter Pan, Fantasia, others. Individual scenes include Tinker Bell as a stripper, Pluto urinating on a picture of Mickey, Minnie as a prostitute, Mickey doing drugs, etc. Additional anti-Disney statement of the Disneyland castle at one corner emitting light rays and dollar signs. These are new old stock, I've had them for over 30 years. Some display very minor yellowing on back because of their age.
